Are carbon-fiber nylon filaments really as strong as the marketing would have you believe? Or is PLA stronger? Does the addition or carbon fiber make the filament weaker, as many have claimed? We're going to find out today. We'll put PLA, PETG, ABS, PA12-CF, and NylonX to the test. We'll measure deflection under load and ultimate breaking (tensile) strength and see what we can learn.
