One of my favorite guests was Brodie the Goldendoodle, a joyful and spirited dog who reminded me how much fun it is to guide high-energy dogs toward balance. On our walks, I always explain the importance of energy in dog training. It’s not just about commands or treats it’s about the calm, confident energy you bring to each moment. Dogs are experts at reading energy, and they respond to our true state of mind more than our words. People often ask me, how do you train your dog to recall without stress or struggle? My answer always goes back to energy and intention. You must invite your dog back with trust and confidence, not with shouting or fear. How I rehabilitate dogs with high energy is by turning that excitement into focus and joy. High-energy dogs aren’t problems to fix; they’re beautiful opportunities to teach patience and build a deeper bond. When you lead with your heart and calm energy, your dog will always choose to come back to you. When I think about Walking With Cesar, I remember all the amazing moments helping my friends connect with their dogs and themselves. They come for dog advice but leave with life lessons about energy and balance. On Walking With Cesar, the walk becomes a powerful therapy session. Watching my friends grow more calm and confident alongside their dogs is the true reward for me. Un perro con la energía alta no es un problema… es una oportunidad hermosa para enseñar paciencia y fortalecer el vínculo. Cuando lideras con el corazón y con una energía calmada, tu perro siempre va a elegir volver a ti. Cuando pienso en Walking With Cesar, recuerdo todos esos momentos especiales ayudando a mis amigos a conectar con sus perros… y también consigo mismos.
