Our enchanting abandoned stone house in central Portugal has been vacant for years and is in dire need of restoration. Our vision is to breathe life back into this century-old stone house - from mending the leaking roof and revamping the plumbing system to remodelling rooms.The land, though currently a sanctuary for weeds, will be cleared and turned into a sustainable homestead- all achieved on a modest budget. We don't take ourselves too seriously, so come along and join us in our day to day lives and on our journey as we start transforming this neglected property into a warm, welcoming space and prepare the land to start "growing our own".
