January is continuing to be warm and rainy in Helsinki, Finland. For a change, we got some snowfall today. This walk explores the district of Alppiharju in Downtown Helsinki. Alppiharju is a district in the eastern part of the central major district in Helsinki, Finland with a population of 12,000. It consists of sub-districts of Alppila and Harju and is known for its small apartments, high population density, and small households.
