In today's video, we explore the cost of a bespoke suit in 2022 using some of America and Britian's most highly-regarded tailors. A NOTE ON VAT PRICING At the time we wrote and filmed this video, Britain had just repealed its VAT refund scheme, whereby foreign nationals could receive a VAT refund on all purchases made in the United Kingdom. Most of the GBP prices that we quoted were provided to us ex-VAT, or not including the 20% VAT tax. However, anyone picking up a suit in the United Kingdom will no longer be able to avoid paying the 20% VAT. When exporting, for instance to the United States, customers can pay the ex-VAT price, but are subject to import duties and taxes. We suggest you confirm all pricing with any tailors directly taking into consideration your particular circumstances. The prices quoted in this video are subject to change at any time.
