LeBron was raging against Brooks last night in the vol. 2 of the saga between them. And Steph Curry casually hit 12 - 3’s in a historic but pointless performance. Plus we got 2 more insane endings in Cleveland and Atlanta… But we gotta start in Phoenix for the rematch between the Suns and the Lakers. Just 2 weeks ago, Brooks got the best of James, after he dropped 33 points on him in the dominant win for the Suns. And last night, Dillon had the Villain suit on from the get go. 1, 2, 3 bumps while James is not even looking at him, Brooks was ready to go to war! However, that seems to hype LeBron up as well, because…Jordan Goodwin got the 2nd steal on Bron, and thought he had an easy finish, but James turned on the jet for another one of his signature chasedown blocks. So, in the 2nd quarter, the old man decided to return the favor to his nemesis. Dillon wanted to extract a little extra on this play, but it all ended with a common charge. Going back and forth at it, the game was pretty much in the balance in the 1st half. Early in the 3rd, inadvertently or not, Brooks poured gasoline on the situation when…James was fuming at the refs for not calling the extracurriculars by Dillon. I swear, he’s the only guy in the league who’s staying in the game after all that raging on the poor ref. Everybody else would be thrown out immediately, but the King got out of it with a tech. So, the Suns had a 6 point lead amidst the 3rd quarter, when the Lakers went on a humongous run, sparked by LeBron and the guys from the 2nd unit. It all started with a bang! Oooohhh that was NASTY! Jaxson Hayes destroyed Ighodaro on the fastbreak, infusing a lot of energy into his team. The Lakers were headed into the final period on a 15-0 run, building a 9 point lead. But they weren’t nearly done, as the avalanche continued in the 4th quarter as well. #lebronjames #lakers #nba
