Why Imitating other Photographers is Important, and when it's Time to Stop

I’m more interested in the ‘why’ of photography than in the ‘how’. There are loads of channels out there enthusiastically giving you gear reviews and top ten lists, but that's not this channel. There will be practical tips along the way, but the meat of what I want to share with you won't be tech heavy. Besides, I believe that a photographer who really sees, but has a cheap camera; will produce better images than a photographer with the best gear, but no vision... every time. I’m not a daily vlogger, I’m not even a weekly one. The most I can manage at the moment is about once a month. But that also means that I’m not going to fill this channel with repeats of other info online, or attempt to stretch a little bit of content a long way. I want every video to feel fresh and rich. Hopefully that makes them worth the wait.
