Banpo-dong is a neighborhood south of the Han River in Seoul’s Seocho-gu District. Most people know it for the beautiful Han River park, the old Express Bus Terminal, and Seorae Village, nicknamed “Little France” or even “Little Paris.” But as a European, hearing “Little Paris” sets a certain expectation… so how French is it really? In this video, I explore Banpo-dong with a few special guests. Including some actual French people, to find out whether Seorae lives up to the name. Along the way, we check out Banpo’s charms beyond just the clichés.
