To increase the thickness of the tabletop to 70 mm, I joined the slab at a 45-degree angle — this not only added a more massive look to the structure but also helped conceal the fasteners. Additionally, I made a lower cabinet that also hides part of the hardware. Its elements are cut at a 45-degree angle, allowing the wood grain to flow smoothly across surfaces, creating a cohesive and aesthetic appearance. The design features Blum hardware with a push-to-open mechanism — the drawers open with a light touch. For the finish, I used acrylic parquet lacquer.
