The 1000 Mile has been a staple in workboots since its debut in the 1910s, back when it was made of horsehide. Today it's made from a rich, full grain, Chromexcel® leather, though they're not fancy — these boots don't have unnecessary moc toes or cap toes, there's no lining, they're really just workhorses. The 1000 Mile is here to get the job done. It's not a perfect boot, though. When compared to other boots at this price point there are a few quality control issues, the sole slips a lot, and there are a few other problems that I mention in the video. So is it worth the cash?
