Because of everything he’s been going through, his garden has gotten completely away from him. She even sent me photos and warned me, “the backyard is something else…” I went out to visit Tom and see how he was holding up. He explained that he’d suffered a heart attack last year and has been in and out of hospital ever since. When I told him I’d come to take care of his yard for him, the look of relief on his face said everything. The grass in the front yard was quite tall and brown and looked to be in pretty bad shape. There were quite a few walkways here that were being taken over by nature and also a big pile of dirt and dead branches near the side of the house that didn't look very nice at all. but the front was just the beginning.
