After Andrew Cuomo said in a recent interview that diversity is our strength but “can also be a weakness,” Mamdani criticized his opponent for being “Donald Trump’s puppet” and “Donald Trump’s parrot.” Vice President JD Vance also recently made remarks that’s receiving backlash for othering people who speak different languages.
