Фильм о судьбах детей, которые оказались за колючей проволокой крупнейшего нацистского лагеря смерти Освенцим. Авторы встретились с теми, кто своими глазами видел, как сжигали людей, и нашли уникальные документы о белорусах, которых целыми эшелонами отправляли на юг Польши. В архиве музея Освенцима съемочной группе АТН удалось отыскать уникальные документы, которые рассказывают, что белорусских детей распределяли в блоки под номерами 12, 16 и 24. По соседству находилось еще одно здание - 25 - там держали смертников. Сохранились и заключения врача, в которых указано, сколько человек болело и какими заболеваниями: 31 - тиф, 14 - коклюш, 11 - туберкулез. Из этой массы ребят нацисты выбирали, кто станет донором крови, а кто отправится дальше. Эта информация была строго под грифом "Секретно" даже для тех, кто непосредственно работал там. Аушвиц-Биркенау освободили 27 января 1945 года. Советские солдаты вывели освобожденных узников из концлагеря.
