התורה נחשבת לספר היסוד בתרבות היהודית. עם זאת, הספר מגוון מאוד, וכולל כמה סוגות וסגנונות כתיבה. יש בו עיסוק בנושאים רבים, מצויים בו סיפורים שמתארים אירועים מתקופות שונות ועוד. מגוון זה, יחד עם כפילויות, סתירות וקשיים אחרים בטקסט, יוצר רושם של חוסר אחידות. קוראי התורה לאורך הדורות ניסו לפתור את בעיית חוסר האחידות בדרכים שונות, ולהתמודד עם הקושי להבין את התורה באופן קוהרנטי. מחקר המקרא המודרני נתן אף הוא דעתו לסוגיה זו, והעלה תיאוריות שונות באשר לתורה ולחיבורה. כיצד בא לידי ביטוי חוסר האחידות שבתורה? מהם הפתרונות השונים שמציע מחקר המקרא להבנת סוגיית חיבור התורה? בסדרה נלמד על אודות התיאוריה המפורסמת ביותר במחקר המקרא המודרני, תורת התעודות, לצד תיאוריות אחרות, כגון שיטת ההשלמות ותורת הקטעים, וננסה להשיב על השאלה כיצד ניתן להבין בימינו טקסט מן התורה. פרופ' איתמר כסלו מלמד בחוג למקרא באוניברסיטת חיפה. הוא עוסק במחקר התורה והספרים ההיסטוריים במקרא וכן בפרשנות ימי הביניים, בעיקר בפירושי רשב"ם ואבן עזרא. לספרייה המקוונת של סדר בוקר: https://bit.ly/3AhjY4i ---- מוזמנות ומוזמנים להרשם לרשימת התפוצה שלנו ולהנות מעדכונים על כל האירועים והתכניות שלנו https://www.bac.org.il/newsletter
