I wanted a way to add a usable brake to my lathe for emergencies or operations like threading where I need to get in close to the shoulder and don't want to crash the tool. A braking resistors is the answer. Over a 6 video series I figured out what resisters were best for my application and how to automate the system. This is the final video in this series. It is instilled on the mill lathe combo and functioning just as designed.
