Next we met with their medicine man, watched as the villagers started fire with sticks, and learned about how the Maasai build their houses (spoiler alert: they use animal poop for the walls!).  It was a fascinating trip both for its cultural highlights and the animal conservation and protection efforts that Amboseli has done so remarkably well. The local people truly care about protecting the animals and creating an incredible experience for everyone who has been lucky enough to travel to Amboseli.
