Some of the most violent people who crossed the U.S. border illegally were arrested after President Donald Trump took office last week. That's according to the nation's new White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who on Tuesday made her debut in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room. The violent offenders were among the 3,500 illegal migrants who have been taken into custody since Inauguration Day, with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents saying they made nearly 1,200 arrests on Monday alone.
