She's one of the most cited scientists in the world, with over 270 published papers. Her work has shaped our understanding of emotions, the mind, and the brain, and she has written two books that break down complex brain science for everyone. This conversation changed the way I see emotions. We talk about how much more control we have than we realise, how even the smallest past experiences shape the way we interpret the world today, and—most importantly—how we can actively retrain our brain to experience life differently.
