For this video, I went to Coachella (weekend 1) to interview a bunch of people staying at the Safari Campgrounds, the most exclusive experience offered at the festival. In addition to that, I also interviewed people at the Coachella invite-only parties as well as die-hard coachella fans on the festival grounds. I got to ask strangers a bunch of questions about what they did for a living to afford their tickets, advice for others, and a bunch of other spicy questions about money, business, and philosophy. My girlfriend and I paid $11k for ours since we booked a bit late. I've always wondered what types of people are able to afford renting something like this, and surprise- the professions and careers we got were mostly entrepreneurs with cool businesses! And make sure you stay until the end, because the guests I talked to at the parties and exclusive coachella areas were also super interesting and successful. This is an ongoing series I do on my channel. Some more info about the Safari camping experience: Tents are $9-11k for 2 tickets, +$3k per additional person up to 4 total. Pricing depends on when you book. The cabanas are $12k for 2 tickets. The Residences (part of The Resort at Coachella) are $28k and come with a fenced off area, and includes 2 artist tickets. Yurts are also $28k and include 2 of the same higher-end tickets, I think you may be able to add on tickets for a fee. For residences and yurts, they both come with things like private golf cart, airfare, daily maid service, nightly dinner reservations, house car, and more. For the standard Safari tents, the perks include free food (breakfast, snacks, and late night meals), a free massage, golf cart access the entire weekend (this was the biggest perk IMO), accommodations, concierge service, and artist guest wristbands that give you access to the artist/guest areas of stages. A lot of people think oh you're paying that much for a tent, it's not worth it - but the real perks are everything else that comes with it. As you can see from the tent tour, it's not glamorous at all and the bathroom situation is even worse haha. But the perks are in my opinion worth it if you have the spare money. Last year I also stayed in the same level of tent- and this year I was really considering getting the residence/yurt and spending $28k. In the end, I decided that it was just too much but I wish I could've showed you the experience. Maybe next year!!
