Its new Duster compact SUV may not be quite as pocket-sized as the Jimny, but it’s offered for similar money and is available as a 4x4 variant complete with off-road modes and extra ground clearance. However, this pair does differ significantly in concept to one another otherwise. The Jimny is a classic 4x4 with body-on-frame chassis and solid axles, where the Duster is a more contemporary all-wheel drive with monocoque construction and independent suspension. But which one is best off road and which is best on road?
