Insane Recommended difficulty for players experienced with the Arkham franchise and looking for a challenge. Chaos Only for the bravest. Ascension Plus New Game Plus rebranded. The hardest difficulty with attack indicators removed. Higher level enemies appear from the start and all gadgets and upgrades will carry over to New Game Plus. (Mod will not work as intended on existing NG+ save files. Players should unlock NG+ with a new save file) Features - Bosses overhauled ¬ Far more damage dealt. Some bosses kill you instantly on Chaos and Ascension Plus difficulty ¬ Faster attack speeds ¬ Some bosses will test you in new ways ¬ Changes to Joker fight - Spawn changes ¬ More armoured units and titans - Overhauled upgrade system ¬ Power Gadgets now function as Special Combo Moves similar to Arkham Knight ¬ Armour upgrades Batman's health in smaller increments ¬ Earlier access to certain upgrades ¬ Multi-ground takedown ability removed (balancing) ¬ Batclaw weapon disarm ability removed (balancing) - Gliding and grapnel boost speeds adjusted and more in line with Arkham Knight - New death tips and UI text in-game to assist you on your journey - Combat and gadget adjustments ¬ Decreased Bat Swarm radius and damage ¬ Adjusted damage and stun values of various moves ¬ Increased speed of various slow actions to compensate for faster enemies (Beatdown, Ground Takedowns etc.) ¬ REC no longer sends armoured enemies flying ¬ Small adjustments to other gadgets - Catwoman buffed to be closer to Batman ¬ Increased damage radius of her special abilities ¬ Adjusted attack animations ¬ Caltrops ammo increased from 3 to 4 + AOE increased - Enemies are more brutal and intelligent - Challenge map changes ¬ Layout reorganised for convenience ¬ New medal requirements for Batman ¬ Joker's Carnival reconfigured for increased difficulty - Increased Titan control time ¬ Control time reduced when using shockwave attack - Many more adjustments to discover Notes: - Thug strike damage is minimal in the beginning of "Regular" and "Insane" campaigns, but will go up as you progress through the game. This is down to the game's design and is something that can't be circumvented. - Health bar of certain bosses may not appear correctly, but is functioning as intended. This is due to the updated health values scaling beyond the viewable health bar. - 100% completion is not obtainable due to the removal of Batclaw Weapon Disarm and reduced REC power against armoured enemies. If aiming for 100% completion, uninstall the mod temporarily to finish any last challenges. - Harley Quinn's Revenge difficulty is fixed and can't be adjusted. Seems to use the base game's easy or normal difficulty and most damage changes don't trigger until passing Robin's beginning section.
