Blue Hour Landscape Photography - Anstruther Chalmers Lighthouse

Video Description

In this video, "Blue Hour Landscape Photography," I capture stunning landscapes at the charming seaside village of Anstruther in Scotland. This shoot wraps up my five-day tour along Scotland’s east coast, and unexpectedly, Anstruther turned out to be my favourite spot. Previously, I was in Fraserburgh, a town three hours further north, but I decided to visit Anstruther after noticing its cute lighthouse. As a landscape photographer, I usually avoid places that are crowded, commercial, or overrun with tourists. While the town has its own appeal, it’s not ideal if you’re looking for solitude. I initially tried to shoot at sunrise, but aside from a lackluster sunrise, the low-tide harbor was disappointing. With very little water, the exposed harbour floor revealed mud, stones, and what I can only describe as dirty sand. Ultimately, I chose to wait for sunset, a decision I’m truly glad I made.
