In this video were assembling the 1.6" EMD GP40 that I designed! Were taking the big pile of sheet metal from the bed of my truck and welding it all together to create a model I can use for years to come. This project has been a long time coming, its great to finally get it all welded up, and available for others to enjoy. Since I was a kid, I've loved model trains. I designed this engine so that anyone with basic welding knowledge can assemble this engine in their garage. Its always been a dream of mine to build a backyard railroad, and this engine will be the perfect addition to my railroad!
