Do you love languages? We learn and have fun with languages here. My name is Norbert Wierzbicki and I'm a Polish teacher and language content creator. I'm an advocate for a Multilingual World. I want my channel to be a place where people of the World can meet, discuss languages and make friends. Let's focus on what connects us (love for languages most likely 🤠) and not what divides us. ✅ You're welcome to participate in our discussions but please remember that the following will not be tolerated: 1. Offensive or violent language.❌ 2. Hateful or discriminatory comments regarding race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or political beliefs.❌ 3. Spreading negativity and bullying others.❌ If you're not able to follow the above guidelines, do not participate in the discussion! I delete hateful and triggering comments and I mute their authors from the channel. Enjoy the content! 🤓
Video Description
Bulgarian is a South Slavic language spoken by approximately 9 million people primarily in Bulgaria, but also in neighboring countries and diaspora communities. It is known for its rich history and cultural significance in the Balkans region. In this video, we present a language challenge that focuses on testing the mutual intelligibility between Bulgarian, Ukrainian, and Polish. Mutual intelligibility refers to the ability of speakers of related languages to understand each other to some degree without prior knowledge or formal training. Through a series of language challenges, we explore the similarities and differences between these three Slavic languages. You will be able examine vocabulary, grammar structures, and pronunciation patterns to gauge the level of comprehension and ease of communication between speakers of the two languages. This language challenge not only provides an entertaining and educational experience but also highlights the interconnectedness of Slavic languages and the shared linguistic heritage of these countries. It showcases the potential for cross-cultural communication and understanding among speakers of related languages. Whether you are a native Bulgarian speaker curious about Ukrainian and Polish, or a speaker of Ukrainian or Polish interested in Bulgarian, this video offers a unique opportunity to test your language skills and discover the fascinating connections between these languages. 🤗 BIG THANKS to the participants of the challenge: Neda@,neda_lapteva Darina, and Eryk (Instagram: @viziris_) 🙏 Volunteer your language skills for the future videos → https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc9I2GI7plOElgXkQajre7z7CIfdnPBmYudUl0d4YnJ-W-_jg/viewform 🤓 Join the Ecolinguist DISCORD community → https://discord.gg/xKBQCc3V57 🏋️♀️ Support my Work: My name is Norbert Wierzbicki and I am the creator of @Ecolinguist channel. ☕️ Donations → https://www.paypal.me/ecolinguist (I appreciate every donation no matter how big or small🤠) 📱 Follow me on Instagram: @the.ecolinguist Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChqLwfp3eAkAwX9DGnqr_CA/join 🕰 Time Stamps: 📽Recommended Videos: 🇺🇦 Ukrainian Language | Can Polish, Russian and Slovak speakers understand it? → https://youtu.be/e_IZkB2fg-w 🇵🇱💬🇧🇬Polish Bulgarian Conversation → https://youtu.be/_eQ-tR_XI7Q 🇵🇱💬🇲🇰Polish Macedonian Conversation → https://youtu.be/RZT0sg6hSik 🇵🇱💬🇷🇺Polish Russian Conversation → https://youtu.be/_qPaqAwO5tM Slavic Languages Comparison → shorturl.at/bpwJL 🤗 Big hug to everyone reading my video descriptions!
