It’s the perfect dinner idea for busy weeknights or when you want to impress guests with something unique and comforting. ⸻ 📌 Ingredients You’ll Need (Serves 4): - chicken breast: 1 lb, 450 g - Chicken Seasonings: salt, smoked paprika, ground fennel: 1/2 tsp of EACH - garlic powder, chili flakes, black pepper: 1/4 tsp of EASH - Butter : 3 tbsp, divided - Olive oil: 1 tbsp - Half a head of small green cabbage, sliced thinly - Garlic: 4 - 6 cloves - Salt : 1/2 tsp - Dried thyme: 1/2 tsp, or 1 tsp fresh - Chili flakes: 1/8 tsp or up to 1/4 if you want more heat - Black pepper - Spaghetti: 8 oz, 230 g - Apple cider vinegar: 2 tbsp - Soy sauce: 1 tsp - Parmesan: 1/2 cup - Reserved pasta water: 1/2 cup - Heavy cream: 1/3 cup 👉🏻 Crispy topping: - Chopped walnuts: 1/4 cup - Panko breadcrumbs: 1/2 cup - Diced garlic: 1 tsp - Minced parsley: 2 tbsp - Olive oil: 1 tbsp 📌 Instructions: 1. Make the topping: toast walnuts in a dry pan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add olive oil, diced garlic and breadcrumbs, toast for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, stirring continuously. Add parsley and set aside 2. Add butter and olive oil to the same pan. Pat dry the chicken, season and fry over medium high heat, 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through, remove and set aside 3. Reduce the heat to low. Add butter to the same skillet, add garlic and cabbage,add salt and cook for about 12 minutes, stirring often until tender. Add spices and deglaze with apple cider vinegar and soy sauce, cook stirring until most of the liquid evaporates. 4. Return the chicken, along with cooked pasta to al dente, Parmesan, pasta water and heavy cream. Toss everything to combine. 5. Serve warm and sprinkle with a generous portion of the crispy breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
