The Children of the Forest and Bloodraven are running a cult in Westeros beyond the Wall. They've lured Bran Stark into the weirwood cave to teach him about greenseeing and fighting the white walkers. But who made the white walkers? The Singers of the Forest probably. Although did anyone make them? They could just be a natural race of icy creepos, which a separate sect of CotF are skinchanging/telepathically manipulating to fight humans. Hopefully Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow can defeat them during the Long Night, which will still probably be way different in the Winds of Winter / A Dream of Spring that what we saw in Game of Thrones.
