This project, created in collaboration with my dear friend and incredibly talented digital sculptor Robson Willames, began with my admiration for his stunning sculpture of Denzel Washington. Together, we decided to transform it into a fully customized MetaHuman. As always, the indispensable Mesh Morpher plugin was key—a must-have tool for similar projects. Constantly updated and incredibly versatile, it enabled us to achieve custom geometry, subdivided meshes, expression sculpting, and so much more! Basically is: Mesh to MetaHuman conversion Conforming the mesh Wrapping and adjustments Texturing using XYZ maps Baking sculpted details Baking displacement details Texturing Creating blood flow and wrinkle maps Corrective blendshapes with Mesh Morpher DNA rewrite with Mesh Morpher Styling and designing 3D clothing Finalizing the look and feel Note: Skin, hair, and eyes are enhanced with a fully custom shader for maximum realism.
