Did I just enjoy a solo journaling game? (Cinderedge Overview, Gameplay Instructions, & ACTUAL PLAY)

**SKIP AHEAD TO 21:10 to get right into Review, overview, instructions, and PLaYtHrOuGh** In this video, I explore Cinderedge, a weird fiction/cosmic horror/psychedelic rock solo survival JOURNALING (yes, JOURNALING) RPG where you play as a Wardkeeper, "holding the line" against an "endless wildfire." ... Except you're not really holding a line and it's not exactly a wildfire... You'll just have to see what I mean, it's pretty dang cool. This game draws inspiration from Disco Elysium, Kentucky Route Zero, Edith Finch, and other awesome games, and I must say at 150+ pages this is a journaling game that definitely earns it keep. But don't take my word for it, check out the video where I give a review, gameplay instructions, and for about the last 30 minutes, I do a mini playthrough including two journal entries and some sketches just to show you how to get a session up and running (okay, I guess that is still taking my word for it, but you know what I mean, right??) I also have an opening discussion (that, statistically speaking, 50% of people will skip) on how certain games unconsciously mirror the anxieties and moods of our current moment, but then I bring it back by moving into a clear and surprisingly concise explanation of Cinderedge’s rules and its simple but effective play loop. Finally, I do a playthrough and show my style of journaling which involves sketching and audio recording. Just some ideas on how to approach journaling from a different lens, hope you draw something cool from it, I definitely did.
