QUICK WEEKNIGHT CHILLI •1 pkg lean ground beef •1 lrg can pork & beans (or 3-4 regular cans) •2 cans kidney beans •1 can stewed tomatoes •3 Tbsp chilli powder •1 1/2 Tbsp cumin powder •1 tsp garlic powder •1 tsp onion powder •1 tsp paprika •1 tsp oregano •1/2 tsp chilli pepper flakes (optional) •1 1/2 - 2 Tbsp salt • 1/2 tsp pepper •1 Tbsp brown sugar (or honey) •1/4 cup apple cider vinegar Brown ground beef on medium/high heat in a large pot. Add all spices & seasonings, except the apple cider vinegar (start with 1 tbsp salt and adjust later). Cook another 5 minutes. Add the beans and tomatoes. Get to a boil, then simmer on medium low until heated through. Add apple cider vinegar. Stir. Adjust seasonings. Add more salt until the flavours are pronounced. Top with grated cheese, sour cream and green onions (optional).
