The vibe of this show was immaculate. From the fantastical cyberpunk aesthetic, the villain and character designs, the artstyle that felt different but still right at home with the animated series, and the electronic industrial metal that was the soundtrack. Not to mention Terry McGinnis, and everything that the character brought to the role of Batman with Kevin Conroy's Bruce Wayne as his mentor. This result of corporate meddling, through sheer act of will and talent from the team behind Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League, and the rest of the DCAU, managed to be something incredibly special. And I’ve always wanted to try my hand at writing a Batman Beyond movie. Whether it’s animated or live action, a Batman Beyond movie has so much potential to be something incredible. There are so many things you can do with the concept alone that can resonate with a new age of audiences.
