It’s still unclear if this is due to user error or a failing charging IC that’s stuck in the wrong state. 🔴Some PSP units with power or charging issues, even with the super capacitor fully removed, may need to sit without any power (no battery or charging cable) for a period of time before they start working again. This could take an hour, overnight, or even a full day before the system begins accepting power or turns on normally, this is one part of why I think its a faulty charging chip. But this is with varying levels of success, it can stop accepting power and or turning on again after a while. Sometimes it can keep working even tho it stops charging, when kept in sleep mode. 🔴 There’s no documentation about this issue anywhere. I’m currently testing and investigating ways to revive these units reliably. 🟡 If you have any personal info or observations, please share them below.
