Download the full 1.5 hour long Pine Tree Demonstration, absolutely free! https://andrewtischler.com/free/ I have been asked so many times over the past few years. When are you going to get back into the beginner demonstrations? The answer is right now. That is why we are going back to basics with this pine tree demo, the first part of our tree painting course. With this demonstration we will start with the humble pine tree! Pine trees can be found nearly anywhere, that said, regardless of how common they are, pines are absolutely beautiful. Just look at the work of the greats such as Ivan Shishkin, and Carl Rungus! This lonely pine was found just off the side of the road in the South Island of New Zealand, we’ll start from the beginning, going over my color and brushes, sketching in the composition, locking in the shape of the pine, building up the background and the context of the tree, refining our shapes, building up value and highlights and finishing off the our finer detail.
