Video Description

This week, I'm making a shape that has been very requested—it's an absurdly simple, low and wide store jar, thrown on wooden bats and trimmed within an inch of it's life. Fundamentally they're simple shapes, yet any object when refined to this level is difficult to create, you don't have to push things to the absurd level I take them, but it's a challenge I relish. I'm throwing and trimming seven jars in total, with a number of tips and tricks dropped into the narrative that hopefully help you make your own lidded forms with more ease.
