A very large floor standing speaker. A very expensive floor standing speaker. I set out to make something similar to the Stenheim Ultime II because they are beautiful, elegant, and completely out of my price league. I wanted to repair my current floor-standing speakers, or replace them altogether. I decided on replacement since I was in the building mode. WARNING... you need a large space if you're going to build something like this. You can take inspiration from the design and make something smaller, but these are meant to make a statement in size, design, and sound. This is a DIY for a large 60 inch tall floor standing speaker. These are massive tower hifi stereo speakers. They incorporate a D'appolito design, also know as a mid tweeter mid (MTM) configuration with amazing sound.
