“Where do you buy vintage patterns?” This is a questions I get ALL the time. My answer is always, “Anywhere I can.” Yes, this is another huge vintage sewing pattern unboxing! Yes, I did treat is like a Pokemon card opening with two camera angles and "experts". When it comes to buying vintage patterns, eBay is usually the first place that comes to mind, but nowadays there are so many other platforms that you can find vintage patterns on. Sure there are other platforms to buy vintage, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, even Poshmark has some nowadays. However, this week, I tried buying vintage patterns on Mercari. I bought 200 vintage patterns from one really terrible photo and one sentence to describe them. Did I win big? Or did I lose my shirt (even though I can make a new one)?
