#SRPAY #Documentary #TrueCrime This true crime video focuses on Mamta Kafle Bhatt, a 28 year old Nepalese-American citizen who is missing since 29th July, 2024. Mamta pursued nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences after which she met Naresh Bhatt, a Nepalese man in his thirties living in the US. Naresh worked as an automated logistics operator in the military. Despite their age gap and obvious differences, they took a liking to each other and got married in December 2020 and moved to Manassas Park, Virginia. Their marriage turned fruitful when they gave birth to their first daughter, Neema on 20th August, 2024 but their lives took a dark turn after Naresh lost his job in February, 2024. Mamta allegedly showed up at work with bruises on her body. She told her friends how Naresh tortured her in their marriage and manipulated her to stay with him whenever she wanted to separate from him. But things got worse when Mamta went missing after 29th July, 2024. Naresh didn’t inform the police about this and the police only got involved after a missing complaint was filed by one of her colleagues who noticed her absence on an important day of 1st August. Eventually, Naresh filed a missing case on Mamta after which police actually got involved. Initially, Naresh complied with the police and appeared to be assisting them in the investigation. He also displayed grief on her wife’s disappearance and tried to play victim in order to gain sympathy from the people. But his true fsce was revealed after police dug through his home and found traces of pools of blood in his bedroom which led to the bathroom. This caused Naresh’s arrest and Neema was given to the social services who found a safe home for her. This is an ongoing case with new developments even as we speak.
