We just picked up a free 7.3 IDI diesel flatbed tow truck — and according to the previous owner, it hasn’t run in many years. It’s a 1990 manual rollback that’s been sitting untouched and neglected, and today we’re gonna see if there’s still life in this old Ford. Ever since Landon made me sell the Green Bean, I’ve been itching to get my hands on another one of these. So we’re bringing this one back to the shop, putting some power to it, checking fuel, and giving this IDI a shot at breathing again. Will it crank? Will it drive? Or will we tow it straight to the scrap yard? Let’s find out.
