Jenn McCabe finished testifying in Karen Read's re-trial today (Friday, May 2, day 8). McCabe was with Read and her boyfriend, Boston Police Department Officer John O’Keefe, on Jan. 28, 2022, hours before O’Keefe was found dead in the snow outside fellow police officer Brian Albert’s home. McCabe is Albert’s sister-in-law, and she visited Albert that night, too. Read’s defense is that Albert is the one who killed O’Keefe, and she’s being framed as part of a Massachusetts law enforcement conspiracy. Prosecutor Hank Brennan questioned her again in re-direct examination. He went through text messages with McCabe and questioned her about her state of mind to try to refute the defense's argument that she's covering up a murder and framing Read. 05:00 "I can't stop seeing him in the snow.
