This afternoon in the Young Thug trial, Fulton County Assistant District Attorney Christian Adkins tried to plow through his direct-examination of alleged attempted murder victim D'Angelo White, but White wasn't having it. White is currently serving a prison sentence. The April 12, 2015, shooting that injured Dexter “Poo” Montgomery and prosecutors say could have killed White is overt act 32 of the 191 acts supporting the racketeering conspiracy charge against Thug and his five co-defendants, Rodalius Ryan, Deamonte “Yak Gotti” Kendrick, Marquavius Huey, Shannon Stillwell and Quamarvious Nichols. The indictment says Demise McMullen (not on trial) and Walter “DK” Murphy (took a plea deal and is to testify in trial) attempted to murder White with a firearm in furtherance of the racketeering conspiracy of the Young Slime Life gang that prosecutors allege Young Thug leads.
