93 minutes is all it took. On 4th July 1918 outside the little known village of Le Hamel on the Western Front, a groundbreaking attack was launched. For almost four years the Western Front had been locked in stalemate, with significant gains almost impossible to achieve. But on that day, Australian, American and British troops would demonstrate a new way to fight. In one morning a blueprint would be laid, one which would demonstrate that trench warfare could be broken and that the war could be won on the battlefield. This is the story of Le Hamel.
