Video Description

This is the third video on this Imperial German Karabiner 71. It started as a cut down rifle, missing the nose cap and wood fore end. In the first video, I added those to restore it to it's original military configuration. The second video was focused on the bore condition, clean out it and honing the chamber to be able to shoot it. During both of those videos, I had asked for comments and suggestions on what else I should do with the carbine. The vast majority said to boil and card the metal parts, blue the nose cap and make the wood fore end a better match. That's what I'll be doing in this video, along with a few other odds and ends that this rifle could use.
