Here’s one of my favourite pots made this year, a simple stepped lidded jar with a lucky red spot, (this one wasn’t implanted), appearing on the lower half. Just a quick thank you here really to say how much I’ve appreciated all your views, likes and comments over the past year on my videos here. These short moments from my making process are time-consuming to create, yet they’re also tremendous fun to put together, to narrate and to finally upload. They’re snippets from my practice and whilst yes, making them means I spend less time actually throwing pots, they’ve helped me reach an audience that’s far wider and greater than I ever imagined, which is arguably more important than making more pots.
