Take your income and subtract your expenses. Are you in the negative or positive? I call this the “Red Light Green Light Test.” 4. Using what you found out about your spending from Day Two Mini-Lesson, start organizing it into the four areas of your budget. Use the accompanying Paycheck Budget Tracker worksheet for this step. 5.
