My Most Complex Restoration (I Almost Quit)

In this video, I restored a very complex Ideal No.1 Stencil Machine made in the USA. This project truly pushed my limits, not only because the mechanism was incredibly intricate, but also because several gears and components were missing. I learned a lot along the way, and thanks to a few passionate people who preserved the original blueprints, I was even able to find the gear designs and 3D models online for purchase. It was my first time working on such a complicated device, and I’ll admit, I almost gave up when I reached the die carrier, but giving up is not in my nature. I pushed through, and in the end I believe the result speaks for itself. It took time, effort, and patience, but I’m happy I stuck with it. My goal was to restore this machine as accurately as possible and bring it back to fully working condition.
