'Britain belongs to you': a campaign report direct from Labour's Radio and TV operations room in London. Introduced by Anthony Wedgwood Benn, with Christopher Mayhew giving facts and figures, Woodrow Wyatt asking questions, and Leader of the Labour Party Hugh Gaitskell giving the party's position. Includes film of Labour MPs Tom Fraser, Eirene White, Denis Howell, Bessie Braddock, Clifford Kenyon, and Clifford Wilcock; a cartoon from 'Vicky' (Victor Weisz), a film about pensions, a discussion with Richard Crossman about pensions policy, and information about where the Labour leaders will be speaking. The 'TV operations room' was in fact the Tonight studio at BBC Lime Grove. Broadcast on 21 September 1959.
