Geeta Aulakh, a wife and mother of two boys, is fatally attacked with machete as she makes her way to pick up her children from the child minders in Greenford, west London. When an informant arrives at a police station to tell detectives he thinks he might unwittingly have been involved in the murder, the police at New Scotland Yard ask why he’s volunteering information. The information leads police to discover key pieces of evidence and to people involved, but it doesn’t explain who wanted Geeta dead or why she was murdered.
