Nobody is buying right now. New car prices have gotten out of reach for most Americans. Vehicle manufacturers have priced out the middle class... and the upper class is far too smart to fall victim to modern day price gouging. New car sales have been plummeting throughout 2025, and this WILL continue into 2026, mark my words. Something has got to give soon with the car market, otherwise a lot of dealerships will have no choice but to close their doors forever. Can't say I feel too bad, only the greedy ones will suffer. Most car dealers didn't hesitate to take advantage of their loyal customers throughout the last 4-5 years, so why should we feel bad for them now -when they need us most? In this video I discuss the several factors and stats that clearly explain the current state of the car market and why people are feeling car market fatigue. Buying a new car, truck, SUV, minivan, etc is the second largest purchase anyone will make throughout their lifetimes. It's become wildly stressful, between the insane price tags, dealer games and gimmicks, and lessened quality, it's no longer justifiable to buy a new vehicle.
