In this video, I’m building a clean and powerful mATX gaming PC inside the Phanteks XT M3 — a compact case that really impressed me with its airflow, build quality, and the overall ease of installation. It delivers a perfect balance between modern design and functionality, making it an excellent choice for a high-performance setup. At the center of this build is the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, one of the fastest gaming processors available today thanks to its Zen 5 architecture and massive 3D V-Cache. It pairs perfectly with the Gigabyte B850M Gaming X motherboard, offering PCIe 5.0, DDR5 support, and great stability for a compact system. Cooling is handled by the Corsair iCUE H150i Elite LCD XT, a premium 360mm AIO featuring a bright customizable LCD screen and outstanding thermal performance. It fits surprisingly well inside the XT M3 and keeps the 9800X3D running cool even during heavy loads. For the graphics card, I chose the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 WINDFORCE OC SFF 12GB — a compact yet powerful GPU that handles 1440p gaming with ease while maintaining excellent efficiency and low noise. The system features 32GB of Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 6000MHz CL30, providing fast and stable performance for gaming and multitasking. For storage, I installed two SSDs: a Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1TB for the OS and applications, and a Kingston NV3 1TB for games and project files. Power is supplied by the Gigabyte GP-AE850PM PG5, an ATX 3.1-ready 850W PSU that is quiet, reliable, and fully modular. For airflow, the build includes 3× CORSAIR RS120 ARGB fans plus 3× Thermalright TL-C12C-S, creating a strong and balanced cooling setup. The final result is a clean, efficient, and extremely capable mATX gaming PC, ideal for 1440p and even 4K gaming thanks to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D paired with the RTX 5070 — all inside the compact and elegant Phanteks XT M3.
