This project was what I originally set out to make when I took Mark Rober’s Creative Engineering Course (you can find my video review of it here: https://youtu.be/_ELiTSE9Nbs). I ended up running out of time when my class was in session, so I temporarily stopped my build when it was a simple single-tube air cannon (check out my how-to video to make one yourself: https://youtu.be/NvH9WHNxvj8). I didn’t lose sight of my goal, though. After learning about power MOSFETs, solenoids, and some clever uses for resistors and diodes, I was finally able to make the air cannon I always wanted! Now that this demo video is complete, I'm going to begin working on the how-to video so you too can have the ultimate in air cannon technology at your disposal!
