Is it ridiculous and completely impractical? Yes. Was it fun to build, test, and shoot a video for? Also yes. Usefulness is overrated. Using an Arduino Nano and a simple custom circuit board, I was able to hijack the signal from a Staples Easy Button to control a solenoid valve. An air compressor, small reservoir, fake potted plant, and a water flosser tip later and you have a disguised water sprayer sure to feel right at home on a minimalist's desk. Enjoy watching me spray myself in the face as I recreate my rendition of the awful TV informercials of the 90s. No I did not get the 1-800 number or website listed, so please don't try calling or visiting them. I realize this is not a how-to/build video and while I don't currently have plans to make one since this is a terrible product, I will include links to the parts I used below in case you want to recreate something similar and understand what I've done to create the Focus Flower from the video.
